**_About This Role_**

A Day in the Life of a Software Engineer:

+ Developing solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope on both current and next generation technologies in support of our family of Surface Vehicle products

+ Performing software development of new products across all phases of the product lifecycle from concept development to lab and offsite integration and evaluation

+ Performing software development at component, subsystem and system level including embedded control systems and sensor/operator interface development

+ Working cohesively on a multi\-functional team with exciting technologies and products

+ Providing offsite integration and test support

+ Other related duties as assigned

**_Qualifications_**

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/computer engineering/CIS/MIS or a related field

C/C , C\#, Python, and/or Java programming

Basic shell scripting experience

Ability to work 40 hours/week \(with every other Friday off)

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Traveling up to 20% of the time
