Job Title: Senior Specialist, Program Manager Job Code: 43889 Job Location: Greenville Texas Job Schedule: 9/80 Job Description:   The Program Manager directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.   Essential Functions: Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance assigned program Acts as a primary customer contact for program activities Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of program requirements including Engineering, Operations/Manufacturing, Contracts, Finance, Quality, Security, etc. Build teams based on trust, efficiency, and accountability Utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and tools to plan and execute programs, including identification and mitigation of cost, schedule, and technical risks Identify continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities Coordinate with customers to identify new opportunities and resolve issues throughout the program lifecycle Provide concise reports to management on status, potential issues, risks, and recommended courses of action Possess good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) to customers, other stakeholders, supporting teams, all levels of management Comprehend complex program and interdependencies and be able to provide clear consistent priorities to supporting teams Ability to work extended hours as needed to support program requirements Demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity   Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Demonstrated experience managing aircraft integration or aircraft maintenance efforts or complex aircraft engineering projects. Demonstrated experience in preparation of business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
