Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus’ global success and play a vital role in Airbus’ transformation journey in standardisation, harmonisation, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes (e.g.Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Our target is that siloed ways of working / processes will be a relic of the past within the AGBS. Responsibilities - your mission: You will ensure compliance with licences and other export requirements, laws and regulations, end-use and regulatory reporting obligations, as well as the Airbus Export Controls Directives and Methods You will provide know-how and guidance on export control compliance to your stakeholders. You will liaise between business functions and the Airbus Commercial export control team or regional export control and compliance teams when necessary. You will monitor, assess, decide, control and document the export control related processes of Airbus, including export classification, licensing, the use of licence exceptions, etc. You will support the export control function and other export control resources by reinforcing key messages related to the Export Control Compliance Programme. You will continuously improve internal processes of the department and optimize export control practices and deployment of automation tools in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Airbus Export Control Directives and Methods. Requirements - our ideal candidate will have: Educated to a master degree in law, international trade (or equivalent) 2+ years of experience advising on export control and/or sanctions matters High degree of integrity, discretion and trust Leadership and project management skills Strong analytical, organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously Good writing skills required to write and edit reports and memorandums Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently but also as part of team in a fast-paced and demanding environment Experience and willingness to work on digital tools Languages: English, knowledge of French, German, or Spanish is a plus Benefits - what’s in it for you: The chance to work in a multicultural environment.
