This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. The Engineering Technician Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Provides equipment support to ensure smooth 24/7 operation in Thin Film Coating department. Supports the Equipment Engineer in design, fabrication, and modification of equipment and tooling.  In this job, you will: Performs preventative maintenance on critical equipment and tooling in TFC. Maintain and/or modify existing coating chambers and chamber components. Work on long-term projects such as improvement of existing and/or obsolete electrical/PLC components Document parts drawings, tooling, and check sheets. Troubleshoots controls, instruments, and mechanical systems Some heavy lifting is expected; team lift more than 50lbs.

High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience.   No clearance required to start Understanding of drawings, BOMs, and prints associated with semi-complex mechanical assembly. Familiarity with PLCs and PC control systems.
