What you will do
Perform scheduled servicing, repair, and recharging of hand portable fire extinguishers, wheeled units, and kitchen suppression cylinders. Perform hydrostatic testing and repair of fire hoses. Assist on-road technicians with a various assortment of required work. Perform deliveries/pickup at customer locations and suppliers where required. Picking orders to prepare for shipping. Receive and put stock away in designated areas. Maintain general cleanliness throughout the shop and work area. Repair service equipment where required. What we look for Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check Preferred: Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to adhere to and always follow safety guidelines and procedures Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision Must have excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $22-$30 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
