S and C Client Service Analyst

Responsibilities We are currently seeking an experienced S&C Client Service Specialist to join our Client Coverage organization in Monterrey. The MSCI Global Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that provide first tier support for our clients around the world. Team members are responsible for responding to a wide variety of methodology, usage, interpretational, and technical questions on MSCI’s Sustainability and Climate products. The S&C Analyst will strive to become a product and client type expert within the ESG Client Service group. He/ she will work closely with account managers to develop and maintain client relationships and will be dedicated to specific client accounts. Client contact is primarily via telephone and email, but occasional traveling may be required for on-site presentations or training. Your Key Responsibilities Key contributor to growth by achieving high client retention rates and increasing productivity Understand S&C clients’ investment process, needs and use cases to provide premium service to assigned accounts. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the S&C data processing within each team of the covered clients Communicate client data management process and use case within the organization Contribute to the account management function by ensuring relevant S&C product and Research information is shared with clients Responsible for delivering client education and product training Answer detailed client inquiries about MSCI S&C products and methodology Become a Trusted Advisor by applying both product and client expertise to pro-actively identify solutions/product usage that create value for the client – hence contributing directly to up-selling and cross-selling opportunities Work closely with account managers and sales support teams during product implementation and on boarding of new S&C clients. Your skills and experience that will help you excel Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineers, chemical engineers, or sustainability field. Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. A self-starter and highly motivated, ability to work individually and within a team. Ability to articulate complicated concepts or methodologies verbally and in writing to senior management and clients. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight, short-term deadlines. Track record of excelling in an environment of ambiguity by quickly adapting behavior and work methods to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities. Teamwork, ability to work efficiently with diverse cultures on a global team and knowing when to involve appropriate colleagues in projects regardless of function or location. Ability to develop value-added contributions to both internal and external clients. Strong commercial orientation and business vision. Client exposure experience is desired. Excellent interpersonal skills.
