Position
Summary We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team and lead client projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you will ensure timelines are met, maintain strong client relationships, and support internal teams to deliver high-quality results. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, driving communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Shift: Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM Location: San Diego, CA 100% Onsite The Role Manage projects, including key accounts, across multiple business lines or sites as assigned. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and address questions and observations. Establish project timelines, monitor actions, and ensure milestones are achieved. Organize and lead meetings with clients and internal teams, set agendas, and provide meeting minutes. Notify milestone completions and forecast accurate project phase completion dates for billing. Obtain resupply forecasts and identify new business opportunities during project lifecycle. Assist sales team with scope definition for resupply and new business opportunities. Review signed proposals for accuracy and initiate scope change requests as needed. Assist in reviewing proposals and scope changes before client distribution. Plan, organize, and lead client development or manufacturing observation visits and project kick-off meetings. Assist in organizing business review meetings and prospective client visits. Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to instill trust and confidence. Assist in training new employees in the project management team. Other duties as assigned. The Candidate Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science required; degree in a scientific field preferred. 3+ years in an industry or scientific environment. 1+ year in a client-facing position (project management role preferred). Technological proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Internet. Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands with fine dexterity, occasionally use a firm grasp, push/pull, and talk or hear. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling is required. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus (with corrective lenses if needed). Pay The anticipated salary range for this position in CA is $92,000 – $102,000 annually.
