What You Will Do
Perform cost and schedule control and analysis for government contracts and associated program financial activities. Review program financial data for accuracy and completeness. Perform Earned Value Management System (EVMS) activities in accordance with contract requirements and company policies. Prepare monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs) and Estimates at Completion (EACs). Analyze EAC and EVMS data to identify cost, schedule, and financial variances. Identify cost, schedule, financial, risks, and opportunities based on program data. Consolidate financial and program information for management reporting. Prepare recurring financial reports for program and executive management. Establish contract structures in SAP/Apex. Manage network charge numbers and associated financial activities. Develop and maintain program budgets. Prepare financial forecasts and analyze forecast-to-actual results. Coordinate with program teams to collect financial and operational data. Prepare internal and external financial reports. Analyze bookings, sales, profit, cash, and backlog. Support proposal activities by providing financial data and analysis. Review actual costs and perform cost and schedule variance analysis. Apply company financial policies and processes to assigned program activities. Prepare ad hoc financial analyses. Support five-year and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) forecasts for the assigned program area. Coordinate financial activities with cross-functional stakeholders. Prepare financial information for recurring management reviews.
Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience. Experience using Microsoft Word to prepare financial reports, program documentation, and written deliverables. Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare financial presentations, program briefings, and management review materials. Experience using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting, including pivot tables, pivot charts, formulas, data analysis, and variance analysis. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications
We Prefer At least 2 years of finance experience supporting government or defense industry programs. Experience working in a matrixed organization. Experience managing multiple financial activities or deliverables with
