The opportunity
Join Worley's team delivering EPCM services for one of Australia's largest copper growth programs with a leading global mining company. Spanning major underground mine expansions and processing infrastructure projects, this portfolio will help unlock future copper supply while offering the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team that values belonging, innovation and shared success. We are seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect to lead the development and assurance of integrated solution architectures that support the successful delivery of technology outcomes across mining projects and studies. As the architecture lead within a multidisciplinary project environment, you will provide strategic technical direction, guide architecture decision-making, and ensure solutions align with business, operational and engineering objectives.
What you'll do
Lead the development of integrated solution architectures that support project objectives across technology and operational technology environments. Develop and maintain architecture deliverables required to support project planning, design, governance and delivery. Provide architecture input to business and technology requirements to support project delivery and operational objectives. Establish and maintain traceability between requirements, architecture decisions and project deliverables. Coordinate architecture inputs across project disciplines to ensure alignment between business, technology and engineering outcomes. Define integration and interface requirements to support effective interoperability across project systems and technologies. Support architecture governance, technical assurance and client approval processes throughout the project lifecycle. Provide architecture leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to project teams throughout study, design and delivery phases.
What you'll bring
Extensive experience leading solution architecture development for major mining, resources, industrial or infrastructure projects. Ability to translate business, operational and technology requirements into architecture deliverables, including high-level designs, architecture assessments and solution options. Knowledge of technology architectures supporting mining and industrial operations, including communications networks, operational technology, control systems, cybersecurity and enterprise applications. Experience working across Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Capability to define integration requirements, interface models and system interoperability approaches across enterprise, operational and engineering systems. Experience establishing and maintaining traceability between requirements, architecture decisions and project deliverables. Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to build alignment across multidisciplinary project teams. Experience supporting architecture governance, technical assurance and client approval processes.
Qualifications
Essential Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline. Desirable Postgraduate qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Information Technology, Digital Transformation or Business. Preferred Certifications TOGAF Foundation or TOGAF Certified. Architecture certification such as SABSA or ArchiMate. Cloud architecture certification such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect. Cybersecurity or industrial security certification such as IEC 62443
