About this role
We are looking for an analytical, customer-obsessed and innovative Sr Strategy & Product Manager to join the Profitability Product and Programs team at Amazon Australia. You will have a passion for improving the customer experience and solving complex problems. You will be a natural self-starter, with superior analytical skills and a curiosity about how things work. You will lead large, complex cross-functional initiatives, and influence peers and senior leaders. You will also be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and diving deep into the details. You will be responsible for defining and delivering strategic initiatives that optimize how we create value and negotiate with our vendors, unlocking the margin that funds better prices, delivery and selection for our customers. You will own the roadmap for the AI mechanisms and products that make our vendor management team's negotiations more efficient and effective, and build them yourself where no product exists. You will also act as a strategic consultant to our commercial leaders, guiding their thinking on profitability strategy. In this role, you will lead the continued development, expansion and optimization of these efforts. You will leverage data and learnings from global Amazon to identify opportunities and run experiments in AU, and share what works with other marketplaces.
