The DC Inventory Control (IC) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily inventory control activities in the facility. This role ensures inventory control processes are completed in a timely manner maintaining accurate on-hands and resolving inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis. The IC Supervisor works under the guidance of the Inventory Control Manager/Inventory Control Regional Manager and collaborates closely with site leadership and operations teams to deliver inventory solutions that support high inventory accuracy, discrepancy resolution and effective communication. IC Supervisors have a small team of hourly direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Key leadership within the inventory control department overseeing a small team of hourly direct reports. Communicate effectively with direct reports, deliver accountability to team members as necessary. Ensure inventory control tasks are completed in a timely manner to keep on-hands accurate and maintain SOX compliant inventory control measures. Resolve inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis of discrepancies. Report causes of inventory discrepancies effectively to other leadership via email, phone, face to face, and remote meeting communications.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment. 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with different WMS. Flexibility to work off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed. Ability to safely operate MHE. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support operations and inventory control. Physical Demands/Job Conditions: Frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds; may occasionally lift heavier or awkward items over 50 pounds with assistance. Perform repetitive computer-related tasks such as data entry and typing. Ability to stand, sit, bend, twist, and lift for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours daily). Frequently walk on hard surfaces within various operational areas. Work is primarily conducted indoors in a comfortable environment, with occasional exposure to fluctuating temperatures, including cold environments as low as -20°F. Must be able to
