Work You’ll Do As a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation on the ServiceNow and Cloud Platform team, you will be responsible for supporting the stability, security, and performance of database environments that enable enterprise ServiceNow capabilities. Administer, maintain, and optimize databases supporting a self-hosted ServiceNow environment hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Perform database backup, recovery, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning activities to support system reliability and availability Support ServiceNow platform upgrades, incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of database-related issues Manage AWS database resources and implement security, access, and compliance controls aligned to organizational requirements Automate routine database administration activities, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with cloud, security, and ServiceNow teams to support ongoing operations Provide on-call support for critical production issues as needed A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product Ability to build and sustain professional relationships The Team Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Qualifications
Required : Bachelor’s degree ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required 3+ years of experience administering databases in a self-hosted ServiceNow environment 3+ years of experience supporting database operations in Amazon Web Services (AWS) 3+ years of experience with database backup, recovery, patching, and performance tuning Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA 100% of the time For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
