As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. The Global Infrastructure and Energy organization is responsible to deliver the infrastructure to host and connect every machine and every user on the internet, with carbon free energy (CFE). As part of the Commercial Operations arm within the Global Operations for Assets and Tooling team, we are responsible to help the strategic negotiators land agreements quickly and be able to maximize our returns. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Analyze and report unit costs associated with network acquisition agreements to inform leadership business strategy and equip negotiators for future discussions. Track utilization of approved budgets against contract execution, and prepare the essential data for regular leadership reporting. Collaborate closely with regional teams to ensure accurate entry of key agreement terms, project details, and forecasts into required tools, confirming adherence to established processes. Liaise with central program manager to implement changes in the region, driving awareness and adoption. Apply AI to automate processes and perform complex analyses.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in program or project management. 2 years of experience in the energy sector. Preferred qualifications: Experience applying AI or other technical tools to automate processes and perform complex analyses. Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management and communication strategy. Experience with cost benchmarking and analyzing financial performance for acquisition agreements. Experience with executive reporting. Demonstrated ability to drive change management, build awareness, and ensure process adoption across regional teams.
