Keysight Eggplant helps businesses to test, monitor and analyze their end-to-end customer experience across different interfaces, platforms, browsers, and devices — including mobile, IoT, and desktop — in agile, DevOps, and innovative application and data environments.   Eggplant’s Connectivity Team maintains the gateways which enable Eggplant’s automation engine, the Fusion Engine, to connect to the system being automated (the System Under Test). These systems can run a variety of operating systems, such as Windows, Android, and iOS. The gateways connect to the Systems Under Test using different protocols, such as VNC, RDP, Citrix or through mobile cloud providers, just to name a few.

About the Job: We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about creating world-class software. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to design and implement multiple gateways which allow automation of Windows, Android and iOS systems through protocols such as VNC, RDP, Citrix and others.

Design, expand and maintain new capabilities for the Eggplant Connectivity products. Work as a Software Engineer alongside other highly skilled, cross-discipline team members to deliver the team’s goals consistently on schedule and on quality. Work with the Team Lead and Product Owner to ensure that new features work as expected, in a way that provides value to the customer. Ensure products and components integrate well to provide a platform for an exceptional user experience. Bring curiosity to the design and delivery of product enhancements and new innovative solutions. Provide input to the design and development process to improve testability, quality and user experience. Identify and raise issue reports for bugs.

Basic Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer science or equivalent through experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in a software development role. Knowledge of OOP, design patterns and coding best practices. Good design and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of the .NET Core framework, the C# language and associated tools such as Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code. Solid knowledge of AI, Agile, Lean and XP development practices   Desired Qualifications: Experience with analyzing and implementing low-level protocols, such as VNC, RDP and Citrix. Experience with low-level mobile automation technology, such as scrcpy, libimobiledevice or go-ios. Experience with near real-time image and video processing. Detailed understanding of memory management and performance optimization techniques for .NET. Experience using GitHub Actions or GitLab for build pipelines Experience of continuous delivery.
