Job Description
As part of the Global Engineering Team, you will join an international engineering environment focused on automation innovation, smart manufacturing and industrial process optimization, with direct involvement in projects across EMEA plants. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support automation and process control activities during commissioning of new industrial projects Collaborate with R&D, Process Engineering, Procurement and Operations teams to ensure successful project execution Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems and production lines Propose and implement technical improvements related to performance, safety and obsolescence management Contribute to the standardization of automation architectures and engineering guidelines across global teams Develop scalable and reusable control solutions to accelerate deployment across plants Support Smart Factory initiatives, including remote assistance tools, data historians and Industry 4.0 technologies Participate in on-site commissioning activities across EMEA plants
QUALIFICATIONS
Engineering degree in Engineering, preferably relevant to Automation field 5-8 years of experience with technical background in industrial process control system realization, from design to commissioning Excellent knowledge of PLC (Rockwell, Siemens and B&R) Excellent knowledge of HMI & SCADA systems Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of VFDs (preferably PowerFlex) and designing electrical power distribution systems Excellent reading capability of electrical and pneumatic diagrams Good knowledge of CE Directives, Risk Assessment methodologies, PL calculations and Safety design Production line commissioning capability (FAT & SAT) Good knowledge of Network and Industry 4.0 principles & tools Project management and relationship building skills, outstanding communication skills Ability to work in team and result oriented Ability to work independently, given a certain task Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced industrial environments Strong ownership and problem-solving attitude Collaborative mindset
