Defense Posture Analyst The Opportunity: As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t . You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. As a Defense Posture Analyst, you’ll provide guidance, technical assistance , analysis, and programmatic support r egional posture assessments. You’ll coordinate, analyze, and draft an independent assessment or report to inform key decisions that will help maintain military advantage, reduce risk in contingency plans, and sustain homeland defense capabilities in the European region. You’ll gather, analyze, and use data from stakeholders across the customer enterprise , Combatant Commands, and partner organizations to develop classified and unclassified summaries, cost estimates, and budget displays. You’ll ensure the assessment comprehensively addresses force structure and posture across NATO Ally countries, logistics requirements, infrastructure investments, security cooperation authorities, and resourcing plans. You’ll facilitate meetings, interviews, and data calls and develop graphics and briefing materials. You'll support senior-level briefings, including responses to follow-on questions. To ensure broad understanding of posture systems, processes, and required information, you’ll develop training materials and provide stakeholder trainings as needed. You’ll organize posture data, analyze progress reviews, generate reports, and present results to our customer and other stakeholders. Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have: 6+ years of experience in the military or government 2+ years of experience with Combatant Command, major Command level, or joint planning Experience organizing data in Microsoft Power BI and Excel Experience with data gathering, analysis, visualization, and basic data systems Ability to demonstrate complex problem-solving using relevant methodologies Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in international relations, security studies, or public policy Nice If You Have: Experience in the USEUCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) Experience supporting congressional reporting requirements or working on a Combatant Command staff Experience in security cooperation or assistance planning or execution Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Maven Smart Systems, SQL, Microsoft SharePoint development, Advana, Qlik, and Tableau Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills TS/SCI clearance Master's degree in international relations, security studies, or public policy Completion of Command and General Staff qualifications and training Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
