Reports to: Head of Digital Operations You must attach your resume in English Context: The IT Operations Specialist for Spain is a key role within our global IT structure. You will be the primary focal point for all Testia sites in Spain, while also being an integral part of a transnational team. This team collaborates closely to share best practices and ensure consistent service delivery across the group. Simultaneously, you will act as the crucial link between Spanish business needs and our central transnational IT teams (Infrastructure, Applications, and Security). Your scope will cover all internal Testia IT needs while also supporting seamless cooperation with, and on, external customer systems. You will ensure global IT strategies are successfully implemented locally and that local requirements are effectively communicated to the global team. This position requires a blend of hands-on technical support, local site management, customer oriented mindset and strategic collaboration.   Job Responsibilities and Objectives: Local IT Operations Be the primary IT contact for all national sites, building strong relationships with local management and end-users Manage the complete lifecycle of local IT assets, including procurement, deployment, inventory management, maintenance, and disposal (end-user and network devices) Key-Contact for end-users in case of IT-Issues  Provide on-site support with a focus on Level 2 & 3 Support Oversee the IT onboarding and offboarding process for new employees With the help of IT subcontractors and the transnational IT team, guarantee the maintenance in operational conditions of our physical installations (routers, switches, servers, etc.) Act as the "smart hands" and on-site representative for the central Infrastructure team, assisting with network equipment, servers, and other hardware maintenance Manage local IT vendors, procurement, service contracts and budget (e.g., local ISP, mobile phone providers, printer provider) Transnational Alignment & Collaboration Collaborate closely with the transnational Heads of Infrastructure, Applications, and Cybersecurity to ensure global IT standards and policies are effectively implemented and maintained within the national framework Deploy global IT initiatives and digital transformation projects within the national perimeter Actively participate in the global IT team, aligning with other operations specialists (Germany, Spain, UK, etc.) to share best practices, provide mutual support, and ensure consistent service delivery. This may include providing remote support to other countries as needed Support the Cyber Security / ISMS Officer by enforcing security policies locally and assisting in any local security incident response IT Customer Operations Act as the key IT Partner for the Managing Director and local business leaders, ensuring IT services are aligned with their operational needs Gather and communicate local business requirements to the central IT team to inform future strategy and solutions Administer user accounts for specific customer systems (e.g., Airbus) as required, directly exchange with customer IT-counterparts What We're Looking For 2/3 years' higher education in IT or systems and network administration, or a Master's degree or engineering school. You will have initial experience of IT and networks in a Windows and Linux environment and/or personal or professional experience of development/scripting in modern languages. Technical IT skills: Active Directory Windows administration Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi) Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and ticketing software Proficiency with client-side VPN technologies (e.g., Cisco AnyConnect) Knowledge of databases and their
