Test Engineer at Assembly - Systems Intern (Onsite)

Provide engineering support for development engine assembly and test across the P&W product lines (Commercial, Military, and Industrial), while focusing on engine systems functional understanding, learning and validation through both analytical tools and data acquisition from testing.  Support assembly plans and coordination, instrumentation requirements coordination, assembly procedure development & methods, on-site and test coverage, test data management and validation.    Active participation in discipline improvement activities and knowledge management.    Work with assembly support teams to support engine builds and tests.  Off-shift and weekend work may occur to gain test coverage experience.

Develop an understanding of how aircraft engines operate as a system and how they are validated for use in the commercial and military applications  Develop an initial understanding of the engine system, including assembly and test  Build system level knowledge of engine assembly, instrumentation installation and overall jet engine function.   Qualifications you must have: Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Science & Technology and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
