Software Engineer – Platform Automation & Integrations Location: San José, Costa Rica (Hybrid) About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and support the automation, integrations, and infrastructure that power critical business services across our global organization. You will work with modern technologies including GraphQL, Apollo GraphOS, Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM), AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID, helping drive self service capabilities, platform reliability, and scalable cloud solutions. Build Platform Solutions Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services, integrations, and platform capabilities. Design and support scalable GraphQL APIs using Apollo GraphOS and modern development practices. Build reusable tools and automation solutions that improve operational efficiency. Create self service capabilities that simplify user experiences and reduce manual effort. Experience with Apollo GraphOS or enterprise GraphQL platforms. Experience administering or integrating with Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM). Knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure services. Understanding of identity and access management platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory. Experience with Linux and Windows system administration. Knowledge of networking, security principles, and cloud architecture. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or other integration platforms. Experience creating technical documentation and solution designs.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience developing software solutions with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages. Hands on experience building and supporting APIs, ideally with GraphQL. Experience with systems integration and cloud technologies. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS
