The Senior Specialist, Global Trade Operations is responsible for supporting import/export compliance, international logistics execution, inventory control activities, and trade operations across Bristol Myers Squibb's Cell Therapy network. This role serves as a key contributor to customs compliance, Maintaining Documentations for Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, inventory accuracy, and global shipment execution while ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and company policies. The incumbent will support North American import and export operations, maintain compliance with U.S. Federal trade regulations, and coordinate international logistics activities between manufacturing, distribution, and external service providers. This position requires strong operational execution, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Shifts Available: Monday – Friday, Standard Working Hours Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Import Compliance Support Site Import Administration activities, issues, and inquiries. Facilitate communication with customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely customs clearance with minimal delays and zero errors. Provide required import documentation and clearance information to customs brokers, FDA, and other government agencies. Communicate release information to site operations to ensure imported materials are not utilized prior to regulatory release, as applicable. Maintain import tracking logs and ensure all entries are processed in accordance with requirements. Compile, review, and archive customs entry documentation for audit readiness. Perform import entry reviews and declared value validations to support customs compliance. Support Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operational activities and documentation requirements. Export Compliance Support compliance with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Customs regulations. Assist with Restricted Party Screening activities utilizing SAP GTS and related systems. Support classification efforts for Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes. Assist with preparation, tracking, and maintenance of export licensing documentation. Support audits, self-assessments, and compliance reviews of trade processes and records.
