Devops Container Platform Engineer

Job Title: IT - Devops Container Platform Engineer Work Location: The woodland ,TX Duration: 12 Months w/ Extensions  Need Locals who can go for F2F interview Container Platform Engineer.  Container Platform team. We currently are working with Openshift and Docker EE to build out container platforms for Linux containers. The ideal candidate should have Container and DevOps experience working to enable developers to build pipelines and use automation best practices. This candidate would work directly with our customers to help onboard and migrate applications onto the Openshift Container platform.

Identify each skill (required versus desired) Required: Minimum 5 years experience working Linux. CI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins. Docker containers Experience in a programming language Python or Java Understanding micro-services Troubleshooting container based applications Desired: Knowledge of Evolutionary Architecture Skopeo CRIO Azure DevOps TFS .NET DockerEE is a plus   Job Experience (required versus desired) Required: Working with developers and project teams Building infrastructure as code. 4+ years working with Windows servers in a production environment. Production environment support requiring no downtime and on call rotation. Desired: Safe Agile and/or familiarity with Scrum teams. Soft Skills (ie what would a good fit look like) Being a team player. Good communication skills. Time management abilities. Problem solving The ability to talk with technical people and business people.
