Job Summary
Supports logistics processes, activities, and customers for all modes of transportation. What You Will Do: • Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and identifying opportunities to reduce lead times. • Identifying opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues. • Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date. • Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs and carrier performance. Planning and tracking lead times including compliance with related regulations. Degree Requirement Degree or equivalent experience desired What You Have: Accuracy and Attention to Detail : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Level Working Knowledge: • Accurately gauges the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights. • Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs. • Processes limited amounts of detailed information with good accuracy. • Learns from mistakes and applies lessons learned. • Develops and uses checklists to ensure that information goes out error-free.
