What this job involves: As a Senior Financial Analyst at JLL, you'll serve as a strategic financial partner for a complex client account, delivering advanced analysis, modeling, and insights that drive performance and inform critical business decisions. This role sits at the intersection of financial expertise and client service, requiring you to analyze intricate financial data, manage end-to-end payroll and labor forecasting, and prepare comprehensive reports for both internal leadership and external stakeholders. You'll own key processes including month-end close, accruals, invoicing, and client billing while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. What your day-to-day will look like: Conduct advanced financial analysis and modeling to support account strategy, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvement Prepare comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal teams and client stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights Manage end-to-end payroll and labor modeling, including headcount forecasting, service line allocations, and union vs. non-union breakouts Oversee month-end close processes and accruals, including labor accruals, true-ups, balance sheet reconciliations, and resolution of payroll-related variances Handle client invoicing and billing operations, ensuring accurate monthly pass-through labor billing and proper validation of reimbursable vs. non-reimbursable charges Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate risks, opportunities, and strategic options that support decision-making processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand financial requirements, align strategies, and optimize account performance Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities specific to the account while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and JLL policies Verify the accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintaining appropriate documentation and controls to uphold the highest standards of financial reporting Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, with demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and reporting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools, with the ability to build complex models and manipulate large data sets Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proven capacity to analyze complex financial data and extract meaningful insights Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation processes
