Overview
The In Vivo Senior Associate at Amgen in R&D (Research and Development) is involved in the planning and execution of in vivo research experiments and studies. They assist in the analysis and interpretation of data, contribute to the preparation of reports, and ensure all activities are in line with the R&D department's goals. They work under the guidance of a team leader or senior scientist. Background: We are a highly integrated in vivo team, excelling at efficiency and productivity, working in a fast-paced dynamic environment supporting Obesity programs at Thousand Oaks site. New team member will be responsible for, including but not limited to: Hands-on execution of in vivo studies (including ALL in-life components) Team support for multiple ongoing studies/study activities Study data acquisition, organization, analysis, quality control Graphing and PP deck preparation for presentation Study/data documentation Study sample processing/inventory/tracking What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Basic Qualifications
Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree and ~2 years of hands-on in vivo experience OR Associate’s degree and ~4 years of hands-on in vivo experience OR High school diploma / GED and ~6 years of hands-on in vivo experience Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with rodents in preclinical research setting (including but not limited to handling/restraint, multiple routes of dose administration, health status assessment/evaluation, necropsy, sample prep/processing) Experience with dose calculations (mass and molar concentrations) Experience with Excel and GraphPad Prism Excellent communication skills Strong team player What you can expect of us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
