About the role
Support FIS’ People Office Business Partner model by helping managers use HR products, programs, tools and processes. This Level II role focuses on day-to-day coordination, basic reporting and follow-up for workforce, talent, performance and engagement activities, while learning from Lead Business Partners.
About the team
FIS is looking for a Business Partner II to help deliver People Office products and services to managers and teams. In this role, you will support common HR activities such as workforce planning, talent reviews, performance, engagement and manager requests. You will work closely with Business Partner Leads, HR Centers of Excellence, People Services, Finance, Workforce Management and business managers to help make sure HR programs are delivered clearly, consistently and on time. What you will be doing: • Guide managers on the use of People Office products, programs, tools and processes. • Support Business Partner Leads by preparing materials, gathering information and following up on open items. • Help deliver workforce planning, position management, talent review, performance and engagement processes. • Support managers with established HR processes for employee relations, performance, engagement and change activities, escalating complex issues when needed. • Work with HR Centers of Excellence, People Services and other partners to drive HR programs to managers and teams. • Support organization and change activities by gathering information, preparing tools and sharing standard materials with managers. • Help managers find HR tools, understand available resources and know when to ask for support. • Track progress and follow-up actions for HR programs and manager-facing activities. • Other related duties assigned as needed. Required Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. PHR/SPHR or related certification preferred. • Experience supporting HR programs, processes, tools or manager requests in a business or HR environment, with interest in learning the Business Partner model. • Basic knowledge of workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, compensation, performance management and change support. • Ability to review HR data, identify simple trends and help track actions or next steps. • Strong organization, communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to help managers find and use HR tools and support channels. • Good judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and escalate issues when needed. • Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare simple updates, notes and follow-up messages. • Comfort using HR systems, workforce planning tools, dashboards and reports to support HR process delivery. • Ability to work well with HR teams, People Services, Finance, Workforce Management and business managers. • Basic understanding of employment practices and HR policies, with the ability to apply guidance consistently and ask for help when needed. • Ability to support change activities, help managers complete people-related actions and follow through in a fast-paced work environment.
