About this role

Overview Build the team that will define our next chapter in dermatology !

Incyte is preparing to launch a new therapy for the treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), also known as acne inversa – a chronic, complex, and often debilitating skin condition associated with significant comorbidities and a substantial burden on patients' quality of life. This launch marks the beginning of a broader product strategy, and additional indications are expected to follow, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to grow the role and scope of responsibility over time.

We are looking for the leader who will give that team its direction, its standards and its belief in what it can achieve.

As the National Sales Lead, you will lead eight Customer Engagement Managers across Germany. You will turn our ambition into a national customer engagement approach, then bring it to life through exceptional coaching and close attention to what is happening in the field. The culture you create will be visible in every territory: in how people prepare, how they listen, how they collaborate and how they follow through.

This role turns IAI's national commercial strategy into consistent, high-quality execution in the field. It combines people leadership with commercial strategy, ensuring the CEM team delivers scientifically grounded, needs-based product positioning with a patient-centered perspective, and fosters collaboration across multidisciplinary stakeholders to support the optimization of care pathways within the HS ecosystem.

Job Summary

The National Sales Lead HS builds, leads, and coaches a high-performing team of 8 Customer Engagement Managers (CEMs) to consistently achieve business objectives across the HS therapeutic area. The role develops and implements the national customer engagement strategy, translates brand strategy into clear territory and account-level plans, and drives excellence in omnichannel execution across all customer touchpoints.

Success in this role requires a genuine understanding of the CEM role, including network and stakeholder management, product positioning, territory and account strategy, and market observation. The CEM Lead coaches the team credibly, removes obstacles, and models the behaviors expected in the field.

The National Sales Lead partners closely with Marketing, Medical, VAP and with other leadership functions across the Business Unit, to deliver seamless customer experience and ensure the field organization has the insights, tools, and support it needs to succeed.

The role builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, contributes to the commercial strategy, and provides regular feedback on market dynamics to the Commercial team. It also champions innovation, field force effectiveness, and digital transformation, while maintaining high standards of talent development, employee engagement, and compliance.
