As an engineer on an Agile Scrum Team, you will have the opportunity to rapidly develop and deploy solutions for a complex space system following core engineering principles, ultimately enabling the delivery of fully functioning mission capability to end users securely and continuously.   The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:​ Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met. Basic Qualifications 
 • Recent experience using Java, JavaScript, and Node.js, for full-stack software development • Experience with Git/Gitlab/Git Bash for software version control • Experience with CI/CD - deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools • Experience with application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift) • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, another engineering discipline, or equivalent experience • Familiarity with software test best practices, including unit test, integration test, and end-to-end test • Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as Jira and Confluence • Active Top Secret security clearance required to start Desired Skills 
 • Three years’ experience developing software on the Whiskey program • Experience as a maintainer on the Whiskey Program • Active Whiskey program clearance • Experience with API design and
