Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the RPT team to align on development progress, requirements, and timelines Simulate and analyze complex circuit designs for advanced hardware development Create PCB schematics, layouts, component selections, and stack-up definitions to develop prototypes Perform thorough design reviews and comprehensive hardware verifications Optimize existing test systems actively and define design guidelines for stress hardware development Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of hardware failures during qualification testing Develop software tools, test scripts, and automation applications for system control, monitoring, and data collection Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A Master's or PhD degree in Power Electronics, Electronics, or a comparable engineering field Deep knowledge of high-frequency, high-power DC/DC converter topologies (e.g., Buck, Boost, Flyback, LLC) for SMPS applications A solid understanding of the theory, selection, and practical application of magnetics and capacitors Proven experience in microcontroller programming (such as XMC, C8051) utilizing C, C++, and LUA Extensive expertise in high-frequency PCB design, EMC guidelines, circuit design, and simulation tools like Altium, Cadence, LTSpice, or MATLAB A natural problem solver characterized by strong analytical thinking and structured troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach Fluency in English is required; German language proficiency is considered a strong asset We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification.
