This role combines hands-on site operations management with strategic vendor oversight, budget management, and team leadership. You'll develop strong client relationships, coordinate with multiple service teams including janitorial, security, fitness, and food services, and lead a professional team dedicated to operational excellence. What sets JLL apart is our culture of collaboration, locally and across the globe, and in this role you'll partner closely with area managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure facilities run seamlessly. With approximately 10-20% travel and a rotating on-call schedule, you'll have varied responsibilities that keep you engaged while building valuable experience across all aspects of facilities management. What your day-to-day will look like: • Manage site operations in accordance with all agreed policies, procedures, and contract scope while ensuring health, safety, and risk management compliance • Oversee vendor management for janitorial, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, critical systems, HVAC, and other services, ensuring contract compliance and insurance requirements are met • Lead, develop, and supervise a professional, creative, and detail-oriented team, providing excellent onboarding, training, and performance management • Proactively develop and manage client relationships to achieve expected service levels, meet key performance indicators, and deliver exceptional quality of service • Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly spend reporting while managing vendor purchase orders, invoices, and payments to achieve financial targets • Support short and long-term projects including moves, reconfigurations, events, and capital planning while coordinating internally with fitness, food services, security, and capital project teams • Participate in rotating on-call schedule to address client emergencies outside of regular business hours Required qualifications: • HS diploma or GED • 2+ years of experience in facilities management or related field • Experience managing a small team with demonstrated leadership capabilities • Basic knowledge of building systems including mechanical and electrical systems • Effective contractor and vendor management skills with ability to ensure compliance • Proficient in a range of information technology tools and platforms • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills with excellent communication abilities Preferred qualifications: • Undergraduate degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field • Ability to multitask and work independently without direct supervision • Ability to plan and manage work effectively under time constraints • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and budget management • Knowledge of sustainability practices and cost
