Senior Analytics Consultant

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant In this role, you will: Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements Lead or participate on large cross group projects Mentor less experienced staff Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. 4+ years of experience in analytics, portfolio management, servicing analytics, business performance analytics, collections analytics, or related consumer lending functions. Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: Portfolio Analytics Servicing Analytics Collections Analytics Customer Management Strategy Business Performance Analytics Forecasting & Planning Data Management & Reporting Strong understanding of consumer lending products, portfolio performance metrics, servicing operations, collections processes, and customer lifecycle management. Advanced proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python, Excel, VBA, Tableau, Power BI, or related analytics and visualization tools. Experience working with large-scale databases such as Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, or cloud-based data platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, isolate root causes, and develop actionable recommendations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline. Experience in Auto Lending portfolio management, servicing analytics, collections analytics, or customer management strategy . Strong proficiency in SAS programming, SAS Macros, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools. Experience developing executive dashboards, portfolio monitoring frameworks, and operational performance reporting. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions through data-driven insights and cross-functional partnerships. Auto Lending experience strongly preferred. Portfolio Management and Servicing Analytics experience preferred. Collections strategy or operational analytics experience preferred. Strong SAS/SQL skills with experience handling large analytical datasets. Experience interacting with business, servicing, and operations stakeholders.
