Lead the day-to-day technical and operational delivery of a team that monitors Honeywell’s Forge cloud applications. You will guide service-case resolution, strengthen connectivity and service performance, and turn platform data into opportunities that improve customer outcomes.
THE OPPORTUNITY In this role, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with team leadership. You will help ensure service-level commitments are met, complex issues are driven to resolution, and operational insights are translated into improvements for customers, field teams, and the platform. Leadership scope: This position includes people leadership and hands-on technical ownership, with accountability for team execution and service-level performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, setting clear priorities and helping ensure service-level agreements are met. • Oversee remote monitoring of Forge cloud applications, with a focus on system health, connectivity, and service performance. • Guide the triage and analysis of Forge-generated service cases, supporting efficient resolution with Field Service Leaders and Field Service Professionals. • Take ownership of complex or high-impact connectivity and performance issues, coordinating escalation and follow-through as needed. • Use Forge data to identify potential Spot opportunities and ensure clear, actionable recommendations are shared with field service teams. • Promote consistent incident-management practices, operational discipline, and effective knowledge sharing across the team. • Partner with cross-functional and back-end development teams to improve system reliability, monitoring quality, and customer outcomes. • Coach team members through technical problem-solving and support continuous capability development.
YOU MUST HAVE • Diploma or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Controls Engineering, or a related technical discipline. • 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based applications. • Working knowledge of a major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, including cloud-monitoring tools and practices. • Experience collaborating with field service teams or comparable operational groups. • Experience using logging, alerting, and incident-management systems to support timely issue resolution. • Experience with Building Management Systems and Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
