Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering Experience with 3DX, CATIA V5 or Siemens NX Experience creating and/or modifying drawings and/or 3D Model Based Engineering designs Standard Job Description 
 Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight. Establishes structural specifications, performs stress analysis, and conducts performance tests. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in seeking a full-time Airframe Structures Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) in Marietta, GA.  A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft structural design problems. Responsibilities for this position may include: - Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents. - Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft structural designs. - Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans. - Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.  This position is located at a facility that may require special access. Desired Skills
