Configuring notifications
Choose how and when Yoinka alerts you about new job matches.
Notification channels
Yoinka supports multiple notification channels: Email, Slack, Discord, and Webhooks. You can configure channels from Settings > Channels or directly when creating a monitor. Each monitor can use a different channel.
Email notifications
Email is enabled by default for all accounts. You can choose between instant alerts (one email per new job), a daily digest (a single summary each morning), or a weekly digest sent every Monday. Adjust this from Settings > Notifications.
Connecting Slack or Discord
To receive alerts in Slack or Discord, go to Channels and click Add Channel. Follow the prompts to authorize Yoinka in your workspace and select the channel where alerts should be posted. Once connected, assign the channel to any monitor.
Webhook integrations
For custom integrations, set up a webhook channel. Provide your endpoint URL and Yoinka will send a JSON payload for each new job match. This is useful for piping alerts into tools like Zapier, Make, or your own internal systems.
