About this role

Overview As a Field Application Specialist (FAS) in Clinical Diagnostics, you will support sales growth by ensuring seamless product integration and customer satisfaction. Key duties include conducting product demonstrations, resolving technical application issues, and guiding clinicians or lab staff on reagent report interpretations.

How You'll Make an Impact

Deliver professional on-site training to hospital and laboratory operators, ensuring high proficiency and compliance with standard protocols. Lead and execute new instrument and assay implementations, driving projects efficiently from setup through to Test of Record (TOR). Investigate and troubleshoot complex on-site assay issues, utilizing clinical/laboratory knowledge to provide timely solutions and ongoing technical coaching. Collaborate with the commercial team to provide expert pre- and post-sales technical support, including product demonstrations and technical consultations.

What You Bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Medical Technology. Certification: Valid Medical Technologist license is highly preferred. Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in hospital laboratories, clinical labs, or the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) industry. Technical Skills:Strong familiarity with laboratory workflows, quality control (QC) procedures, and troubleshooting of automated analyzers and assays. Knowledge of instrument verification or validation processes is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with a strong comfort level in conducting training and facing clients. Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel on-site to client locations (hospitals and labs) as required.
