Understand the engine behind Yoinka's job monitoring and how new postings are detected.
Continuous scanning
Yoinka continuously scans career pages across 1,000+ companies. Our scraping engine checks each company's job board on a regular schedule -- from every few minutes for popular companies to a few times daily for smaller ones.
Matching your keywords
When a new job posting is detected, Yoinka compares it against all active monitors. If the job title, description, or metadata matches your keywords and filters, it's flagged as a match and queued for notification.
Deduplication
Yoinka automatically deduplicates job postings. If a company re-posts the same role or lists it on multiple boards, you'll only be notified once. Our deduplication engine uses a combination of title, location, and description similarity.
Supported ATS platforms
We support all major applicant tracking systems including Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, BambooHR, and many more. Our adapter system can also parse custom career pages. If a company's page isn't supported, contact us and we'll add it.
