How scan frequency works
Scan frequency determines how often Yoinka checks a company's career page for new postings. This is separate from your notification frequency -- scans happen in the background regardless of how often you choose to be notified.
Default scan schedules
Yoinka uses intelligent scheduling based on company size and posting frequency. High-volume companies (like large tech firms) are scanned every 15-30 minutes. Smaller companies are scanned every few hours. This ensures timely detection without overloading career pages.
Priority scanning (paid plans)
On paid plans, your monitored companies receive priority scanning, which means they're checked more frequently. This can make the difference between being one of the first applicants and seeing a posting after hundreds have already applied.
Manual refresh
Need results right now? Click the Refresh button on any monitor to trigger an immediate scan of all its tracked companies. Manual refreshes are limited to a few per hour to prevent abuse.
