Why keep multiple resumes
Different roles may require different emphasis. A resume for a frontend engineering role should highlight different skills than one for an engineering manager position. Keeping multiple versions lets you apply to diverse roles with optimized materials.
Creating and organizing resumes
Each resume on the Resumes page has a name and optional tags. Use descriptive names like "Frontend - React Focus" or "EM - Leadership Focus". Tags help you filter and find the right resume quickly when you need it.
Setting a default resume
Mark one resume as your default by clicking the star icon. The default resume is pre-selected when you use the tailor feature and is the one linked to your profile. You can change your default at any time.
Resume templates
Yoinka includes several professional resume templates. When viewing a resume, click Change Template to apply a different visual layout. The content stays the same -- only the presentation changes. Templates are designed to be ATS-friendly and clean.
